Hi, I’m Lauren ❊
I’m a mom, a deep-feeler, and someone who is endlessly in awe of babies and the way they teach us just by being here. Fully here, fully present - the ultimate embodiments of love.
I became a mother almost three years ago to my daughter, Ada— a child who feels deeply, loves fiercely, and continues to be my greatest teacher. Motherhood cracked me open in the most sacred way, learning how to love with presence instead of fear — both with my child and with myself.
Before motherhood, my work was in early childhood education, with a focus on social-emotional development. I’ve spent years immersed in meditation, breathwork, and somatic and energetic healing work, but it wasn’t until I became a mother that I truly came home to myself.
Motherhood gave me permission to be fully me — to slow down, to soften, and to trust my inner knowing. It brought me back into my body and back into my heart. It helped me remember a wisdom that had always been there but hadn’t felt safe to listen to yet.
I began to see so clearly how much babies need nurture, closeness, safety, and deeply attuned relationship with their caregivers. And at the very same time, how much mothers need the exact same things. I came to understand that supporting babies without supporting mothers misses the heart of the work.
As a breathwork and meditation guide, and Certified Integrative Infant Sleep Practitioner through Goodnight Moon Child, Sacred Nurturing is the living expression of this truth:
that when mothers are supported in their bodies, their nervous systems, and their inner knowing, their babies thrive naturally.
My heart is in helping you live from your heart space, return to your body, trust yourself, feel supported, and remember that everything you need is already inside of you. That nurture matters. That presence matters. That you are the wisdom keeper.
I have spent the last (almost) three years nursing, cosleeping, and bedsharing. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, daughter, and am currently awaiting the arrival of our baby boy Sky. I love nature, sunshine, open spaces, alone time, kisses from my girl, cozy blankets, raspberries and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
I’m here to listen, hold space, be curious, and walk alongside you with gentleness- living, loving and breathing from my heart.
